Last week, Apple started another revolution — that stands poised and ready to change the world yet again. Steve Jobs, the late co-founder and former CEO of Apple, Inc., considered this one of the company’s most important projects in the years leading up to his death. He wanted Apple to do something insanely great for education. Now, it is done: iBooks 2 is going to change the way we learn, forever, by changing the way we learn. No longer will students have to lug around 30 lbs of printed books. Textbooks will be available from schools to students on their school assigned iPads.
What’s more, these won’t just be virtual page-turning documents, but will be loaded with rich interactive content like videos, live Web links, and multimedia resources. There will be games for learning math, science, and reading. This is the best thing, for real, since sliced bread. Check it out:
